Engagement
Art & craft, music and movement, gentle exercise, board games, gardening, local walks, reading club, digital skills, memory and brain-training activities, and themed days. Activities are adapted with visuals, choice boards, and sensory-aware practice.
Personalized Care
Personal care with dignity, structured timetables, visual schedules, calm spaces, and co-produced plans that reflect cultural preferences, faith practices, and communication styles. We set SMART goals and review them regularly with families.
Health Oversight
Time-prompted medication support from MARs (where agreed), hydration prompts, safe mobility checks, skin integrity observations, and easy escalation to families/clinicians if concerns arise.
Sociability
Small groups to build confidence, conversation games, lunch clubs, birthdays/seasonal events, and supportive community outings. We encourage turn-taking, respectful communication, and inclusive participation.
Mobility Support
Assistance with transfers and walking aids (as assessed), pacing plans, rest breaks, and door-to-door support on trips. Risk assessments for all outings; dynamic reviews if needs change.
Nutritional Care
Menu choices, texture-modified options (as per plan), allergy awareness, and hydration routines. Where suitable, clients join simple life-skills cooking (e.g., sandwich prep, hot drinks safely).
Transport
- Fully DBS-checked staff; safeguarding children & adults
- Infection prevention & control, first aid, and moving & handling training
- Clear incident/escalation pathways; risk assessments for people, places, and activities
- Respect for privacy, dignity, culture, and personal preferences at all times
